So What is The Northern Trust?

If you follow golf religiously, like we do, chances are you’ve got a good understanding of what The Northern Trust is, right? Right; we invite you to skip to “tasc Performance on the Green”. For those that may not be in the know, let’s review the basics and catch you up to speed:

The PGA Tour is a collection of professional golf tournaments

The PGA Tour culminates in the FedExCup – think the Super Bowl, New York Fashion Week, the World Cup

They don’t just hand out spots to this shindig, you’ve got to be the best of the best and qualify. How you ask? Points, points, and more points. During the regular season, PGA Tour players can earn points in each event they play.

The ultimate goal is to be among the top 125 points leaders following the final event of the regular season.

– Drum roll...here’s where the Northern Trust comes in –

These top 125 golfers are invited to participate in the first of four playoff tournaments in the FedEx Cup, The Northern Trust. Hence, a pretty big deal.

Only the top 100 point leaders following The Northern Trust Playoff Tournament are eligible to advance to the second Playoff Tournament, Dell Technologies Championship

A summary: the Northern Trust is pretty difficult to qualify for and even more difficult to move on from.

It’s time to be honest: our biggest challenge over here at tasc is that we’ve got to get people to feel our product. We’ve always believed if we can get our revolutionary bamboo fabric in your hands, you’ll be sold. Our solution? Take it to the people. Our Mobile Retail Unit does just that and we made the journey to Paramus, New Jersey to bring the power of touch to the those attending The Northern Trust.

Fore! Miler

We sponsored the Fore! Miler, a four-mile race that took racers through the fairways and greens of The Ridgewood Country Club just days before the world’s best golfers tee off.

Fit Event

We teamed up with Scott Stallings, his trainer Adam Kerley and local box Guerilla Fitness to sponsor an unforgettable Crossfit experience, hosted on the green at Ridgewood Country Club.
