Snowshoeing in Estes Park with Melissa Arnot & Jeff Evans
On February 26th tasc Performance, along side Zamst and Smack Media teamed up with tasc Performance athletes Melissa Arnot and Jeff Evans to lead a special group of outdoor media on a unbelievable snowshoeing excursion through Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado.
The adventure began at Estes Park Mountain Shop where our amazing guide Mike Caldwell (father of famous climber Tommy Caldwell) outfitted the group with snowshoeing gear while tasc Performance provided the group with new Bamboo + Merino base layers to test out along the trails.

The guide, Mike Caldwell, led the group up to a frozen Nymph and Dream Lake where the group enjoyed the beautiful sunshine on what felt like the first day of spring.
The group then had the pleasure of hearing Melissa Arnot and Jeff Evans tell a little bit about their separate adventures of summiting Mount Everest and the incredible work they do to give back their time and efforts to organizations that mean such much to them.
Melissa spoke about her multiple summits of Everest and how they made her who she is today. She also spoke about The Juniper Fund , an organization founded by Melisa that provides funding to those Nepali families that have lost loved ones on the adventures and expeditions on Everest.
Jeff discussed his adventure of leading the first blind climber up to the peak of Everest and spoke of his dedication to the U.S. veterans and his ongoing involvement with the organization No Barriers. No Barriers is an organization that helps injured veterans get back into the wilderness and go on adventures of a life time.
